Beekeepers Module in the State Agrarian Register (SAR)

An automated electronic system developed by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and with support of U.S.A.I.D., which includes a dedicated Beekeeping Module that ensures efficient and transparent support for the apiculture sector.

This module features functionality for advance notifications to beekeepers regarding planned pesticide treatments (PPP – Plant Protection Products), as well as tools for locating apiaries and facilitating communication between farmers and beekeepers.

Main Results

Automated pesticide treatment alerts have been implemented, ensuring timely notifications to beekeepers about upcoming pesticide use to prevent bee losses.

A digital communication channel between farmers and beekeepers has been created—this direct contact tool allows for prompt coordination and joint planning.

Transparency and conflict reduction are ensured through logging all notifications and actions in the system, creating an evidence base for resolving disputes.

Trust and safety have been strengthened thanks to features promoting openness and accountability in state-supported processes.

Environmental risks have been mitigated through enhanced pesticide usage monitoring, promoting ecological responsibility and sustainable practices.
