We are currently looking for a QA & Technical Writer to join our team for testing robotic systems (within a project related to a defense-oriented domain). The systems include software, electronic, and mechanical components.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Creating test scenarios (test cases) and checklists;
  • Conducting testing of robotic systems, occasionally off-site (e.g., in lab or field conditions);
  • Identifying, reproducing, and logging defects using a bug tracking system;
  • Collaborating closely with software developers and hardware/system engineers to resolve identified issues;
  • Writing and updating technical documentation.

Hard Skills:

  • Knowledge of various testing types: functional, regression, performance;
  • Ability to create and maintain test documentation: test cases, checklists;
  • Experience in writing technical documentation;
  • Proficiency with Git or other version control systems;
  • Experience working with tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or equivalents;
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle: requirements analysis, documentation, development, testing.

Soft Skills:

  • Critical thinking (ability to analyze situations, anticipate potential issues, and find logical solutions);
  • Attention to detail (ability to spot even the smallest flaws and defects in a product);
  • Leadership and problem-solving skills (ability to quickly identify root causes and propose effective solutions);
  • Strong communication skills (able to convey information clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing);
  • Initiative and proactiveness (creative approach to tackling unconventional tasks);
  • Organizational skills (ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines);

How is the recruitment
process going?

Studying CV
Studying CV and getting to know the recruiter (up to 2 days). The recruiter will review your resume and offer an online meeting if your experience meets the job requirements.

Interview (1 day)
If the recruiter receives positive feedback after the first stage, we invite you to an online interview with the Hiring Manager and HR. During the hour, you communicate with each other and ask questions that are important to each of the parties.

Test task
For some positions, it's difficult for us to assess the candidate's hard skills, so we may ask you to complete a test task. Terms are discussed individually, depending on the complexity of the task and your life circumstances. In parallel with this process, the recruiter will ask you to provide the contacts of former Managers to ask them a few questions about your joint work experience (if you don't mind).

Making a decision (1-3 days)
After evaluating your resume, interview, test task (situational) and recommendations, we make a decision, and if it is positive, we proceed to the last stage.
